Inper has optimized the ferrule tailstock to make it smaller. The outer diameter 1.25 mm ferrule tailstock is only 1.9 mm, and the outer diameter 2.5 mm ferrule tailstock only 2.9 mm, making them more suitable for close-range multi-site recording and stimulation during experiment.
The tailstock is not-magnetic, and is thus compatible with fMRI experiments.
Mating sleeve and optogenetic fiber compatibility
